The last of the innocent and defenseless victims from the Newtown, CT Sandy Hook School shootings is now laid to rest.
Please give them your fervent prayers and respect these families in this time of extreme personal loss.

Please remember it was NOT the gun that caused the mayhem, death and destruction at Newtown... it was the deranged SHOOTER that was fully to blame !
BAD, evil, and/or mentally disturbed individuals will find one or more ways to kill innocent victims once they set their minds to it.
It is then up to GOOD people with guns to stop that crazed individual from harming many, many victims.

A Historical Flashback:
Charles Whitman was a college student and former Marine who
killed 14 people and wounded 32 others in a shooting rampage on and around the Bell Tower of the University of Texas in Austin on the
afternoon of 1 AUG 1966. (He killed a total of 16 when you add in both his innocent Mother and his Wife he killed earlier in the morning)
This Bell Tower was the sniper position held by Charlie Whitman during his more than 90-minute shooting spree... some of his victims were killed from over 2 blocks away.
The sniper's killing spree was finally stopped by a handful of very brave Austin, TX police officers who rushed the Tower's top floor and shot Whitman dead.
GOOD people with guns stopped the BAD individual who had become an evil, senseless mass killer.
